The 7th Fire-rated Glass Conference took place on 22 August 2026 in Shanxi Province, hosted by the China Building Materials Circulation Association. More than 300 delegates from across the supply chain discussed technical innovation, standards adoption, export markets and system-level applications. Sichuan Xionggang Glass was named to the Fire-rated Glass System Recommendation Directory and received its certificate at the ceremony.
The directory was published alongside the group standard T/CBMCA 081-2026, Fire-rated Glass System Application Specification. It is intended as a reference for project owners, design institutes and procurement teams selecting fire-rated glass suppliers. Inclusion indicates that Xionggang’s product performance, system compatibility and production controls meet the specification’s system-level criteria.
The conference centred on implementation of the new national standard GB/T 15763.1-2025 and the industry’s shift from single-product supply to integrated fire-rated glass systems. Xionggang maintains full in-house R&D, testing and volume fabrication of fire-rated glass in Southwest China, aligning product lifecycles with the T/CBMCA 081-2026 group standard to suit varied fire-compartment requirements in building projects.
The company plans to continue its move from material supply to system-level solutions.
