Product characteristics
Xionggang’s Low-E insulating glass units (IGUs) are produced to meet applicable Chinese national standards for optical performance, thermal conductivity and acoustic insulation. The company notes that these performance benefits depend on correct IGU construction and standards-compliant design.
The units combine high visible light transmittance with reduced heat transfer. According to the company’s stated figures, this can raise indoor temperatures by 3-5°C in winter and lower them by 5-7°C in summer compared with conventional glazing, reducing building energy consumption.
Production uses imported insulating glass lines alongside domestic equipment, intended to keep product performance consistent for high-performance, energy-efficient building projects.
