
Xionggang Glass’s current fire-rated glass portfolio covers three product lines: borosilicate 4.0 fire-rated glass, nano-silica composite insulating fire-rated glass, and high-strength monolithic non-insulating fire-rated glass.
The borosilicate 4.0 fire-rated glass is supplied as a substrate for laminated fire-rated glass assemblies. It is tempered and inspected through an intelligent CNC inspection furnace. The glass is stated to offer a high softening point and low thermal expansion, with a fire resistance rating exceeding 120 minutes. Reference projects include the National Environmental Satellite Launch Center and the National Library; the material is also used in high-rise buildings, commercial centres and hospitals.

The nano-silica composite insulating fire-rated glass is an EI-class assembly comprising two glass lites enclosing a cavity filled with nano-silica fire-resistant liquid. In a fire, the exposed lite is designed to break quickly so the liquid expands into foam, blocking flames and heat radiation. It is used in Class A and Class B fire-rated doors, windows, partitions and fire-rated curtain walls, including external wall fire windows.
The high-strength monolithic non-insulating fire-rated glass is an E-class integrity-only product with low thermal expansion and high resistance to thermal shock, designed to remain intact during fire resistance limit testing. It is installed in hotels, theatres, exhibition halls, airports, gymnasiums, hospitals, libraries and retail buildings, and is backed by insurance from PICC.
