Sichuan Xionggang Glass was named a “Top 10 Fire-rated Glass / Fire Window Enterprise” at the 2021 China Fire-rated Glass Conference held in Wuhan on 12 October. The ranking was published by the Fire-rated Glass Committee of the China Building Materials Circulation Association.
Founded in 2000, Xionggang operates a 70,000 m² fabrication plant with roughly 300 staff, of whom more than 70% are technical personnel. The product range includes high-strength monolithic non-insulating fire-rated glass (integrity only, “E” class), laminated non-insulating fire-rated glass, Low-E insulating glass units (IGUs), laminated glass, ceramic frit glass, curved tempered glass, shower-door glass and solar glass.
The facility houses more than 80 processing machines, including five Italian precision automatic cutting lines, eight automatic edging lines, one high-stress cyclic tempering furnace dedicated to monolithic non-insulating fire-rated glass, one laminated non-insulating fire-rated glass line, three double-chamber tempering furnaces (with curved-glass capability), two laminated glass lines, six imported IGU lines, one ceramic frit line, one intelligent CNC fire-resistance test furnace and one heat-soak furnace. Annual output capacity exceeds 3.5 million m².
Xionggang holds roughly 40 invention and utility-model patents. Its high-strength monolithic non-insulating fire-rated glass and laminated non-insulating fire-rated glass are noted for low thermal expansion and high resistance to thermal shock. The product line is backed by PICC insurance and has passed inspection by national, provincial and municipal quality-testing authorities. The company is an ISO 9001:2000-certified manufacturer with China Compulsory Certification (CCC) for safety glass, fire-product certification for fire-rated glass, and energy-efficiency product certification. Its client list includes more than 100 real-estate developers, and it has supplied glass for hundreds of signature projects and thousands of residential developments.
